新竹市替代役志工團 (HAVP) 創立於民國100年三月。 為了幫助無法參加一般補習班或課輔班的國中小學生，我們一群大學及研究所畢業的教育服務役替代役役男，有心提供這些學生課業上的輔導與協助，我們不是營利、不做任何推銷、只秉持著關懷社區的理念以及一顆為社會服務的心，來幫助我們新竹市社區內的子弟。由新竹市政府教育處劉振興科長帶領，與七位替代役男: 董柏青、張宏溢、謝修銘、滿志謙、彭康維、林冠辰、彭康維、楊昇益共同發起志工團活動。每週一，三，五，晚上六點至八點，在綠水里活動中心。每次排班四人為一小組，目前為十三國中小同學服務。
Hsinchu City Alternative-Military Volunteering Program (HAVP) is a non-profit volunteering program founded in March 2011. We are Alternative-Military soldiers who have earned college- and graduate-level degrees. We want to provide academic assistance to elementary school students and junior high school students who do not have the financial means to attend after-school programs or cram schools. We love our Hsinchu City community and want to use our free times in the evenings to serve the students in this neighborhood that we care for.
